Poetry Publication in Tears in the Fence Magazine

In February 2022, I got the news three of my poems would be published in Tears in the Fence magazine, due out in Autumn 2022.

As of October 14th 2022, the new magazine issue is now live and available to buy!

It’s always so exciting to see my work after its published, especially when it’s in print. A physical copy I can actually hold.

The three poems that have been published in this issue are entitled “Arrowe Park”, “Queer” and “Dear Husband”.

  • Arrowe Park is dedicated to my nan, who died in December 2015. It was our favourite place to visit together and holds so many great memories.
  • Queer was written in the form of a dictionary definition to describe the obscured views of the LGBT+ community many people in the world still have today and the affect that has on individuals.
  • Dear Husband was written as a letter to her husband detailing the life and death of famous poet Veronica Forrest-Thomson who accidentally overdosed in 1975, at the age of 28.

Here’s the the rest of 2022 and beyond for more publications like this!
